WWI Choctaw Code Talkers & France Tribute Film, Voices of Valor, is now available for educational screenings
Voices of Valor, a film about the history of the WWI Choctaw Code Talkers who were awarded France's Chevalier de l’Ordre national du Mérite, is now available for educational screenings. Delve into this legacy of culture, courage, and friendship.
In honor of Remembrance Day in France, Veterans Day in the US, and Native American Heritage Month, Alliance Française d'Oklahoma City is shining a spotlight on the legacy of World War One Choctaw Code Talkers and their relationship with France. The tribute film Voices of Valor, honoring the legacy and shared heritage of the WWI Choctaw Code Talkers and our French allies was shared at a previous event on November 11th.
This film features English subtitles and incorporates the Choctaw language throughout. Efforts are underway to add the option for French subtitles.

Important Disclosure:
Recording of the film during any special screening is strictly prohibited. A copyright agreement is currently pending approval under the ownership of the film’s director, Ta’Na Alexander. At this time, screenings can be arranged virtually with a written media agreement acknowledging commitment to uphold copyright and avoid infringement.
Once the film is fully secured, the Choctaw Code Talkers Association will announce additional opportunities for public access and viewing.
